European Commission launches strategic automotive dialogue from January

Saranno riuniti i principali stakeholder dell'intero settore

EN - The European Commission will launch in January 2025 the strategic dialogue on the future of the automotive industry in the European Union to fine-tune the proposal and rapid implementation of the measures that the European automotive industry urgently needs. This was confirmed by President von der Leyen with a significant statement.

The Strategic Dialogue will bring together key stakeholders from across the entire sector, including European automotive companies, infrastructure providers, trade unions and business associations, as well as parts of the automotive supply chain and other stakeholders.

A series of thematic meetings chaired by members of the College of Commissioners will produce recommendations that will help build a holistic EU strategy for the sector to address the various challenges and, where necessary, adapt the applicable EU regulatory framework accordingly.
