Eurozone, August inflation at 2.2 per cent

L'inflazione è scesa ad agosto al 2,2% nell'Eurozona, rispetto al 2,6% di luglio, secondo la stima flash di Eurostat di venerdi 30 agosto.

EN - In August, eurozone inflation is expected to stand at 2.2 per cent, down almost half a point from July’s figures (2.6 per cent). Eurostat’s preliminary estimate could play a role in the decisions that the european economic institutions will be called upon to take in september.

IT - L'inflazione è scesa ad agosto al 2,2% nell'Eurozona, rispetto al 2,6% di luglio, secondo la stima flash di Eurostat di venerdi 30 agosto.

Tra le principali componenti, salgono servizi (4,2%, dal 4% di luglio) e prodotti alimentari, alcolici e tabacco (2,4%, dal 2,3%).

Calano beni industriali non energetici (0,4%, dallo 0,7%) e soprattutto energia (-3%, dall'1,2% di luglio).
    La stima Eurostat per l'inflazione della Germania è di contrazione al 2% su base annua in agosto, andando nettamente al di sotto del 2,3% previsto. In Francia e' all'1,9% e in Italia è in calo all'1,3% (dall'1,6%). Ai massimi il Belgio (4,5%, dal 5,4%), ai minimi la Lituania (0,7% dall'1,1%).
    Per quanto riguarda la disoccupazione a luglio nell'area euro è stata del 6,4%, in calo rispetto al 6,5% di giugno. Nell'Ue è rimasta stabile al 6%, sempre secondo la Eurostat.  Ai minimi la Repubblica Ceca (2,7%), ai massimi la Spagna (11,5%).
    Tra i grandi Paesi, la Germania è al 3,4%, la Francia al 7,5%.
    La disoccupazione giovanile (sotto i 25 anni) è calata al 14,5% nell'Ue (dal 14,6% di giugno) e al 14,2% nell'eurozona (dal 14,4).
