US Tariffs on Steel and Aluminum Take Effect

I dazi in vigore da mercoledi 4 giugno. Il Commissario europeo Sefkovic segue costantemente il dossier

EU/EN - The new 50% tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on aluminum and steel imports from the rest of the world came into effect in the early hours of June 4, with the signing of the executive order on Tuesday, June 3, which increases them by 25%. The United Kingdom has so far been spared from the measure adopted, based on the tariff agreement with the United States signed in May. Considering the unpredictability of the interlocutor, the European Commission remains cautious and announces a negotiating meeting in Paris, as early as June 4, with the US representative Greer of Commissioner Sefkovic.
