Eurozone inflation holds above expectations in April

La stima 'flash' di Eurostat: i prezzi crescono nell'area euro del 2,2%. Cresce l'attesa sui tassi della Bce

EU/EN - The 'flash' inflation estimate for the Eurozone in April is stable at 2.2%. Among the main economies of the Eurozone, the very low figure for France stands out at 0.8%, while the estimate for Germany and Spain is 2.2% and for Italy 2.1%. Among the highest values ​​are Estonia (4.4%), Latvia and the Netherlands (4.1%). Services remain the largest component (3.9% from 3.5%), followed by food, alcohol and tobacco (3%, from 2.9%). Energy is still falling (-3.5%, from -1%). Attention has shifted to the risks of a slowdown in growth, while confidence in the path of disinflation is increasing and the way remains open for further cuts by the ECB.

 

ITA - E' stabile al 2,2% la stima 'flash' dell'inflazione nell'Eurozona ad aprile. Tra le principali economia dell'area euro, spicca il dato molto basso della Francia all'0,8%, mentre la stima per la Germania e la Spagna al 2,2% e per l'Italia al 2,1%. 

Tra i valori più alti Estonia (4,4%), Lettonia e Paesi Bassi (4,1%). 

I servizi restano la componente maggiore (3,9% dal 3,5%), seguiti da alimentari, alcolici e tabacco (3%, dal 2,9%). Ancora in discesa l'energia (-3,5%, dal -1%). 

L’attenzione si è spostata sui rischi di rallentamento della crescita, mentre aumenta la fiducia nel percorso di disinflazione e resta aperta la strada a ulteriori tagli da parte della Bce.
