The Forum returns for a fourth edition on 3-4 March, at The EGG in Brussels and online

EU/ENG - The European Employment and Social Rights Forum returns for a fourth edition on 3-4 March 2026, at The EGG in Brussels and online.  This Forum will address the EU’s response to the challenges many people face today, including the rising cost of living, job insecurity, and changes in the labour market. The Forum is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. It is the EU’s annual flagship event on employment, social protection and social rights policies. 

A Social Europe ready for the future

Rapid change is reshaping our societies, workplaces, and daily lives. Those who are already struggling feel the impact most of all. Our social model must keep pace to make sure Europe remains the best place to work and live. The Forum will look at how we can secure quality jobs, fair opportunities and effective social protection while adapting to technological advancements, economic pressures and a highly uncertain geopolitical environment. 

Shape what’s next at the 2026 edition of the European Employment and Social Rights Forum.

Opinion leaders, policymakers, businesses, academics and civil society will come together to explore bold ideas to support Europe’s greatest strength: its people.  

The Forum will feature high-level speakers from across Europe: Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission; Roxana Minzatu, Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness European Commission; Enrico Letta, Former Prime Minister of Italy, Author of the Report on the future of the EU single market for European Commission; Yolanda Diaz, Second Vice-President and Minister of Labour and Social Economy, Spain; Vincent Kompany, Head Coach of FC Bayern München, founder of BX Brussels; Sidsel Marie Kristensen, Chief Executive Officer, LEGO Foundation.

EU/ITA - Il Forum europeo dell'occupazione e dei diritti sociali torna per la quarta edizione il 3-4 marzo 2026, al GEG di Bruxelles e online. 

Il Forum affronterà la risposta dell'UE alle sfide che molte persone si trovano ad affrontare oggi, tra cui l'aumento del costo della vita, l'insicurezza del lavoro e i cambiamenti nel mercato del lavoro. Il Forum è organizzato dalla direzione generale per l'Occupazione, gli affari sociali e l'inclusione della Commissione europea. Si tratta dell'evento faro annuale dell'UE sulle politiche in materia di occupazione, protezione sociale e diritti sociali. 

Un'Europa sociale pronta per il futuro

Il rapido cambiamento sta rimodellando le nostre società, i luoghi di lavoro e la vita quotidiana.  Occorre mantenere il modello sociale europeo rimanendo competitivi sulla scena mondiale. Sono necessarie politiche per sostenere i lavoratori e le imprese attraverso il cambiamento e per preparare la prossima generazione a un mondo del lavoro in rapida evoluzione. 

Il Forum esaminerà come garantire posti di lavoro di qualità, opportunità eque e una protezione sociale efficace, adattandoci al tempo stesso ai progressi tecnologici, alle pressioni economiche e a un contesto geopolitico altamente incerto. 

Opinion leader, responsabili politici, imprese, accademici e società civile si riuniranno per esplorare idee coraggiose a sostegno della più grande forza dell'Europa: il suo popolo.
