Eurozone: confidence in economic prospects increases

l'indice è salito a dicembre a 96,4 punti, rispetto ai 94 punti di novembre.

EU/EN - In December 2023, confidence in the Eurozone economy increases. According to data released by the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission, the index that measures overall sentiment rose to 96.4 points in December, compared to 94 points in the previous month. Confidence in the European Union as a whole rose to 95.6 points from 93.8.

 

ITA - Nel mese di dicembre 2023 aumenta la fiducia dell'economia dell'Eurozona.. Secondo i dati diffusi dalla Direzione generale Affari economici e finanziari della Commissione europea, è salito a dicembre a 96,4 punti, rispetto ai 94 punti del mese precedente l'indice che misura il sentiment complessivo. La fiducia del complesso dell'Unione Europea è salita a 95,6 punti da 93,8.
L'indice per l'Eurozona ha delle componenti specifiche a partire dalla fiducia dei consumatori che si porta a -15 punti (attese per -15,1) da -16,9, migliora la fiducia dei servizi (a 8,4 da 5,5 punti, vs attese per 4,3) e quella dell'industria (-9,2 da -9,5 punti, vs attese per -8,9). In aumento anche il sentiment nelle costruzioni (-3,6 da -4,4 punti).
Sulle prospettive del lavoro (Employment expectations indicator, EEI) l'indice registra un leggero incremento a 102,8 punti nell'eurozona (+0,1 pp) e a 102,4 punti nell'UE (+0,5 pp).
Scende anche a dicembre l'indicatore di incertezza economica (IUE) a -0,9 punti a 20,8, a causa della minore incertezza tra i consumatori sulla loro futura situazione finanziaria.
